St. Louis Area Field Trips

Locations:

  • St. Louis City
  • Rockwoods Reservation
  • August A. Busch Conservation Area

All field trips are free!

  • Groups are responsible for providing their own transportation to and from our locations.
  • Field trips generally last from 1.5 to 3.5 hours, depending on your group size and your availability.
  • Only one field trip available per class per school year.
  • A maximum of two staff are available per field trip. Groups of three or more classes require teacher- led activities. Supplies and instructions for teacher-led activities will be provided by staff, and generally include a craft, game, and/or hike, depending on the program topic.
  • Please ensure students wear closed-toe, sturdy footwear and weather appropriate clothing.

Fall Programs

September 7—December 4, 2020
  • Programs are available Monday—Friday, except Holidays.
  • Available at all locations.
  • Requests accepted through September 1, 2020.

Maple Sugar Programs

February 10—February 26, 2021
  • Programs are available Wednesday—Friday.
  • Available ONLY at Rockwoods Reservation location.
  • Requests accepted through December 11, 2020.
  • Maple sugar programs are selected based on a lottery system.

Spring Programs

March 8—May 14, 2021
  • Programs are available Monday—Friday, except Holidays.
  • Available at all locations.
  • Requests accepted through March 1, 2021.
Late applications are considered based on availability.
