Frank E. Wagner, a former WWII prisoner of war, donated this area to the Conservation Department in memory of all American POWs.

This 130-acre area is about 50 percent openland/grassland and about 50 percent forested. Management of the area will include prescribed fire, which will help create and maintain diverse upland wildlife habitat.
