This 70 acre area in southwest Columbia was acquired from the Jose estate in 1991. Two miles of the meandering Hinkson Creek and a section of the MKT Trail form its boundaries.
Hiking /bicycling trails are mown for area users. The property is adjacent to and can be accessed from the Twin Lakes Recreation Area and is short distance from the MKT trailheads at Scott???s and Forum Boulevards.
Thirty acres are forested while the remainder is open grasslands. Archery methods deer and turkey hunting is allowed. All other hunting is prohibited. Pets and hunting dogs are permitted but must be on a leash or confined at all times. Hunting and dog training is prohibited on this area.
