Due to the flooding of Hart Creek we have been unable to mow the trail and the pond dam this spring and early summer. We will resume normal trail maintenance as soon as water levels allow us to access the area with our mower. Thank you for your patience.

This 657-acre area was acquired through two purchases. In 1997 the Department purchased the initial tract, 574 acres, from Vernon and Alta Fay Renner. The other tract, an adjoining 83 acres, was obtained from John W. Shettlesworth in 2000.
