This 72-acre reservoir was built in 1960 for the city of Bethany as a supplemental water supply. MDC began managing the fishery in 1988, through a Community Assistance Program (CAP) agreement with the city.

Fishing amenities include a 15-car parking area, concrete boat ramp, and accessible privy.

Common fish species include channel catfish, largemouth bass, bluegill, redear sunfish, and common carp. The area is owned and managed by the city of Bethany. Questions should be directed to City Hall at (660) 425-3511.
